How do I get The Early Bird?+
The Early Bird is part of the Quillstone app for iPhone — coming soon to the App Store. It's free and needs no account.
Where do my books live?+
Quillstone is offline-first. The EPUBs and M4B audiobooks you import stay on your device, and there's no account to create.
How does iCloud sync work?+
Sync is optional and stays off until you turn it on. It moves your library between your devices end-to-end encrypted with a passphrase only you know — Apple only ever stores an unreadable blob, and we never hold the key.
How do I delete my data?+
In the app, open Settings (the gear on The Early Bird tab) → Delete All My Data. You can wipe just this device, or also delete the encrypted copy synced to your iCloud.
Is there a Mac app?+
Yes — Quillstone for macOS is a separate authoring studio for writing and publishing books. It's a direct download rather than an App Store app; see the homepage.
